Maxim Business Park truly is a business park for the 21st Century. It is built to the highest environmental standards and is based upon a highly successful business model that creates a high quality, sustainable work/leisure environment that attracts both companies and people to the location.

It was clear to the client and the architects Keppie Design from the outset, that a lighting scheme with a difference was required to complement the business and architectural initiatives. Lightfolio were selected to deliver a vision for lighting and a concept design layout that would be translated into the finished article by the installing contractor.

Lightfolio travelled the length and breadth of the country looking at exemplar business parks to examine the level of lighting design utilised and the quality of lighting that had been incorporated before translating these findings into a working lighting vision for Maxim. The resulting lighting strategy and concept plans looked at all aspects of external lighting from car parks, pedestrian footpaths and roads, buildings and landscaping.

In addition Lightfolio examined in detail the need to use light in balance with the environmental setting of the park, the quality of luminaires that should be used (and ones to be avoided) and the need to incorporate illumination for key focal points and views that communicated the qualities and uniqueness of Maxim.
