Bothwell Plaza

Bothwell Plaza is a £350M mixed use development consisting of leisure, retail, hotel and office accomodation.

This bold minimalist building with its hyperbolic paraboloid crown heralds the entrance to the newly established International Financial District and will be visible from many key locations and approaches across the city.

Lightfolio were engaged by the design team to devise a suitable external lighting concept as part of a detailed planning application. The visualisations for this submission were produced by the very talented Jim Gordon of Aedas Architects.

Planning permission was secured for the development in February 2009 and detailed design will begin in summer 2009.
