lightfolio  has a diverse skill base which enables us to deliver unique, high quality, cost effective, technically proficient lighting solutions, developed holistically to ensure sustainability and ease of maintenance.

The principals, Ian Walker and Reg Gove have between them over thirty five years experience in lighting and design, their work in recent years is detailed within this website.

Due to the phenomenal increase in demand for high quality lighting solutions, the principals have gained experience in the following areas; domestic lighting, retail, commercial, urban, marine and architectural exterior illumination.

In addition to the work described above, the practice has experience of lighting strategy and implementation planning. Recent works in this area include lighting strategies for The City of Sunderland, North Lanarkshire in Central Scotland and a micro lighting strategy and conceptual lighting design for the new state of the art Maxim Business Park at Eurocentral.

The practice is currently engaged in a number of challenging projects including ia lighting strategy for the Candidate World Heritage Site at Wearmouth and Jarrow in Tyne and Wear, lighting for a number of public realm projects including Motherwell Town Centre and areas of Sunniside in Sunderland as well as a range of lighting projects centred on and around the Forth and Clyde Canal.
